Revegetation-Native Seeding

DTEC's experience with native plant establishment can make the difference for your project. Drill seeing, hydroseeding, mulch, and soil amendments; the West's, climate and soil conditions are challenging even for the most thoroughly planned and executed revegetation programs. Turf reinforcement mat (TRM), erosion control blanket (ECB), stream bank, or wetlands, if you want growth, do not take chances with less than DTEC quality. DTEC can develop and implement a revegetation program for any type of situation from semi-arid, high prairie, and desert environments to mountainous slopes and wetlands.

Silt Fence

DTEC quality means lower COST.

This silt fence performed just as it should under an extreme rain event. Notice the waterline and the lack of sediment in the street. You may also notice that the stakes are spaced at about four feet, a detail that is routine for DTEC corners. Other overlooked details are the staple pattern, stake depth, consistency, and the fabric quality. The EPA, State, and Local agencies will no longer accept window dressing, the BMP's on construction sites must be effective. There is only one source when performance counts.

Wattle - Low Profile Perimeter Protection

Wattle needs a two inch deep trench and adequate stakes to ensure that sediment doesn't find its way to your streets and inlets. DTEC installs wattle with nine woods stakes and tight joints to ensure performance to design specifications.

ECB - Erosion Control Blanket

Like any revegetation activity, ground prep is key. The seed bed must be roughened and any clumps or rocks removed. The blanket's intimate contact with the ground protects the seed and ensures rills and gullies don't develop under the blanket.
