This silt fence performed just as it should under an extreme rain event. Notice the waterline and the lack of sediment in the street. You may also notice that the stakes are spaced at about four feet, a detail that is routine for DTEC corners. Other overlooked details are the staple pattern, stake depth, consistency, and the fabric quality. The EPA, State, and Local agencies will no longer accept window dressing, the BMP's on construction sites must be effective. There is only one source when performance counts.
