SWPPP SERVICES
Erosion Control Blankets
ECBs provide immediate erosion control protection when installed and also create healthy growing conditions for native seed species to promote final stabilization.
Inlet Protection
There are many different styles available. Often the style you use is determined by the local jurisdiction’s specifications. IP is your last line of defense before sediment leaves the site.
Hydroseeding
Hydraulically applied seed and mulch to stabilize exposed soil on your project.
Concrete Washout
Several containment options are available to control concrete wash water and prevent this pollutant from leaving your site. We ensure the style installed matches your local requirement
Recycled Rubber Sediment Control
These branded products are durable, re-usable substitutes for wattle. They can also be moved and easily replaced to allow temporary vehicle access.
Wattle
Low profile sediment control that is easy for foot traffic to step over without damage. Commonly seen in 9” and 12” diameter. Larger sizes available for special applications.
Drill Seeding/Revegetation
Our preferred seeding method. Ask about our rapid response seeding crew for projects from a partial acre to 5 acres. We also have the big guns for projects up to hundreds of acres.

I am expecting a regulator visit.
The Challenge
State regulators usually give more than 48 hours notice of a visit, but local regulators may simply drop in without any advance notice.
The Solution
DTEC will send an experienced Project Manager or Team Lead to join a regulator for a visit. This allows us to rapidly correct any issues spotted, and in some cases the solutions we propose to a regulator will be lower cost, more effective practices than their first impulse would suggest.
Unhappy with current provider?

Although we all prefer a proactive approach, there are times when storms or regulators require a rapid response.
The Solution
DTEC has achieved a 48 hour or shorter response time on more than 95% of our service calls in 2018. Many critical situations received responses the same day as the call was received.
I've got a complex project.
The Challenge
Complexity comes in many varieties. Examples include extremely large sites, projects with multiple builders working side by side, or high risk sites that are highly visible or in close proximity to waterways.
The Solution
At Leyden Rock DTEC provided a dedicated Project Manager and multiple crews who were on site two or more days a week for the duration of the project. We worked closely with our client’s stormwater manager to prioritize responses and clarify which builders had responsibility for which areas. Working closely with Summit Services Group, we created highly organized and methodical response to constantly changing site conditions.
I need a second opinion.
The Challenge
Stormwater compliance is part art and part science and it is common to have different opinions about the most suitable response to erosion and sediment control challenges.
The Solution
On a site that received a state audit in 2018, DTEC was asked to bid a substantial silt fence quantity. Upon review of the site, DTEC determined that because of topography and existing diversion ditches, no silt fence was required to meet the SWMP requirements. Our competitor happily gave them a bid for several thousands of dollars of silt fence that was not needed, but we were able to confirm with the state that the proposed BMP was not required. That’s how we roll.
